In addition, the success of female entrepreneurs is inspiring other women to start their own businesses, which is helping to close the gender gap in entrepreneurship.
As more women enter the entrepreneurial arena, they are bringing with them a unique set of skills, experiences and perspectives that are reshaping the business world.
That’s the case of Julia Rommelt, a successful German entrepreneur and model. She has also a really strong presence on social media, where she shares daily content and pictures that her extensive audience completely loves.
What’s more, she was the Playmate of the Year in 2021. Since then, she has built her own business and quit her main job, now working as a full time model and influencer with great success.
“I got in touch with Playboy through Instagram and since then everything has evolved. I got over 1 million followers within 2 years, it’s been a lot of work, I’ve had 365 shoots every day and published a photo on social media”, Julia shares.
But Julia is not only the typical girl with a pretty face and an amazing body. She’s much more than that! She has an Administration degree, she was on Wall Street and she has built her business herself from scratch, dealing with all the challenges that entrepreneurs’ face, even more in today’s economy.
Seeing how successful Julia is today, it’s easy to think that her start in the business world was easy. But quite the opposite. Due to the stress, she had circular hair loss because she had to cope with so much pressure and attention. “Knowing that many people doubt you or talk behind your back was very hard for me, and still is for me today”, she adds.
In order to overcome these challenges, Julia used a powerful weapon: her mindset. For her, it has been vital on her path to success. “Without a healthy and growing mindset, you go bust in this business!”, Julia comments.
What differentiates her from others in the modeling industry is her naturalness and spontaneity. Julia is the nice and sweet girl next door, but she can also appear totally sexy and confident, aspects that make her stand out in a crowded market, and that her audience loves.
“This honest way is very well received and makes me out. I come from a simple family with 5 siblings. There was not much glamor!”, she details.
Though Julia is already working incredibly hard with her modeling and social media business, she is not planning on slowing down anytime soon. In fact, she is working on getting her own calendar this year and on buying a house.
