Dr. Rodriguez’s motivation to start her counseling services stemmed from her personal experiences of migration and the challenges she observed in her community. About this, she shares:
“The impact of racism and sexism, coupled with witnessing the struggles of immigrant families, particularly around mental health, cultural adaptation, and the effects of discrimination, inspired me to create a support system that addresses these unique needs. I wanted to provide a space where immigrants could find understanding, guidance, and empowerment as they navigate their new lives, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive in their new environment.”
